Our first baby was a dog.
Lucille, Lucy, Lou Lou, Loula Girl. We had her for 8 years before we had any children. On February 24, 2007 she was diagnosed with cancerous tumors in every one of her teats. The tumors kept growing in size and, let's face it, she was over 11 years old so when one had split through the skin we made the hardest decision to date. On February 23, 2008 we said a heartbreaking goodbye to our little girl. She was a miracle dog in every way possible. The best Chow, friend, and family member we could ever have asked for.
And we miss her.

I know how you feel!! I miss her too! And I know that the boys miss having her aroung, even if it is to clean up their food messes. All my love! :) Sarah
